2020-11-18-1430-Pastor Ko’s Update

November 18, 2020, 2:30 pm

Updated by Sister Cindy Chiang.

Pastor Ko’s surgery ended at 4:30 pm yesterday 11/17. He woke at around 8:00 pm and was transferred to the regular room.

The Hospital’s visitation time is limited from noon to 8:00 pm. Mrs. Ko visited him this afternoon 11/18. Pastor Ko sat on the chair, looking good.

The following is from Pastor Ko’s oral statement:

“Thanks be to God. God has abundant grace. Except feeling pain on the wound, everything is fine. Brothers and sisters do not need to worry about me. God will take care of me. I will stay at the hospital for one or two weeks. The doctors felt optimistic on the surgery. But there will be some adjustment for me after the surgery, such as eating habits.”

When I (Cindy) told him “brothers and sisters are praying for him”. He said, “I am praying for brothers and sisters too”. I asked him “why?”

He replied: “I pray that you all study the Bible diligently. Because now I do not have a Bible at my side, plus my hands cannot open the Bible at this moment”.

Cindy: Thanks for all of your prayers. God answers your prayers. We will try to update Pastor Ko’s update hopefully daily until Pastor Ko can write his own update and let you know his situation.
