2021-07-23-Pastor Ko’s Update

Thanks to the Lord for His exceptional grace for a speedy recovery, and I was able to spend last month in a very meaningful way.

After a long year of separation, I finally returned to the Center at the end of MayThere is so much comfort and joy in my heart; what beauty is it to pursue the Lord with my brothers and sisters again. Thank God, I could share the same food with brother and sisters during the camp without having to prepare special meals.  This is truly Lord’s special grace that I could successfully participate in the two camps for nine straight days.

In the beginning of June, I again joined the week-long Youth Camp in the Center to pursue the Lord with more the 60 youths together with joy and passion.  I felt tremendously grateful specially during this pandemic year.

The next morning after the Youth Camp, I went to St. Louis to preach on Sunday worshipIn the afternoon, I flew to the North Carolina East Coast training camp. This is the first time I saw a new camp site prepared by God in East Coast, I was extremely thankful.  In the shadow of the severe pandemic, many brothers and sisters on the east coast have trusted the Lord to get out of the bondage of the pandemic and participated in the camp for the first time. I really give thanks to the Lord!

After flying back to St. Louis from the east coast in early July, I went back to the hospital for a minor operation as planned to check for cancer cells. Praise the Lord! The report came out a few days later and the doctor said everything was normal.  I only need to follow up after three months.

Thank God! It was the grace of the Lord that allowed me to resume my ministry in the camp. After more than a month of serving Him, He still gave me a healthy body.  By His grace too, my wife, Sylvia was by my side all the time to take care of my needs in all aspects
