2007-11 (November Prayer Letter)

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

It is another season to give thanks to our Lord. Thank God for so many people who remember Christian Witness Center in their prayers.

Beside our regular ministry in all different campuses, we are putting up full strength for the preparation of all the winter meetings. It is not an easy task. We need your prayers that the Lord will give us wisdom for all the preparation work. Also pray that the Lord will prepare the hearts of people to come. Allthe information have already been posted on our website (www.cwcnet.org). Please visit it. Please down load the application forms and pass it to other brothers, sisters and your friends. The online applications form for the Winter Conference will be postedin the middle of November. Please keep an eye on this.

  1. The Winter Retreat will be held atKansas City Hyatt Hotel from the evening of December 21 to the noon ofDecember 25. Beside Rev. Moses Yu, Rev. Edwin Su, Brother ZhimingYuen and Bro. Balex Sit, we also have Prof. Joseph Wang and Bro. Samson OU. Pray that God will use this meeting to out reach your friends and many people and you yourself will be blessed by the message too.
  2. Discipleship Training will be held at Warsaw, MO (the Center) from December 25 to 29. Beside Bro. BalexSit, we also have Sister Grace Lee as our speaker. It will be a wonderful time to equipourselves to serve the Lord. Please arrange your time to come and pray for us.
  3. Bible Camp will be held from December 30, 2007 to January 5, 2008. For those who have applied have already got their assigned study topics. Quite a few applied the camp inAugust and started to read and attend their local small study group faithfully. The strict deadline for the camp is November 15. Time is running short, please apply now. We can not accept the lateapplication. This time we will study the General Epistles. Ours speakers are Rev. James Ip and Sister Grace Lee.

II.Coworkers Updates:

  1. Sister Cindy Chiang— She is busy withthe detailed arrangement for all the winter meetings besides her busy weekendcampus ministry. Please pray for her andher workload. Please continue to pray for the treatments of her teeth. This is the “ headache”for her.Please pray for the wisdom of the dentists and the huge financial burden.
  2. Pastor Joel Li— He has been busy for the ministry in Lawrence and Manhattan (Kansas). Brothers and sisters enjoy both his sermon and playingbasketball with them. Last week, hebadlyhurt his foot in a ball game.He still has a very difficult time to go around. Please pray for him.
  3. Sister Vivian Tsen—She is busy in theState of Iowa. She would like you to pray for her thatGod can use her as a vessel to help those in need.
  4. Sister Ching Kuan—She is ministering at theChinese ChristianChurch in Columbia, MO and help many people. As more people attend the church each week, her workload is heavier.Please pray for her. She especially asks you to pray for her daily walk with the Lord.
  5. Brother Dale Beyer—He is repairing the whole roof of the Lake House. It is a hard work for himself alone. Dale is glad that the Lord gave him 4 children and all the children are helping the Center’s ministry. We thank God for providing us sucha good family at our camp ground.
  6. Pastor Ko─In the past one month, I have ministered atSeattle (Washington), Vancouver (Canada), Terri Haute (Indiana), Dallas (Texas) , Kansas City (Missouri), Fayetteville (Arkansas) and Oshkosh (Wisconsin). Thank God for using me at thoseregions. Please continue prayingfor my safe trip and God-pleasing ministry in the coming month (I will go to California one weekend ofthis month).Mydaughter Sarah will go toCollege soon.Please pray for all of her preparation works.
